how to make  time for self-care

The Importance of Making Time for Self-Care

Making time for yourself is critically important to your well-being and happiness. It can allow your mind to recharge, improve your concentration, help you be more present in your relationships, and make you more productive.

It's easy to understand the benefits of self-care, but how do you make time for it? Finding time for ourselves can be especially difficult in our fast-paced lives, endless commitments to our work and families, along with living in a technological world where we're always supposed to be on and accessible!

Through this self-care workshop we will help you develop the skills to prioritize your needs so you can live a healthy life, inside & out.

In the "Making Time for Self-Care" workshop you'll learn strategies on how to start to create time for self-care, the five types of self-care, and how they are important to maintain a balanced life.

  • Discussion on how to make time in your day / week for "me" time.  Strategies on how to start and keep momentum going over time.
  • Learn self-care strategies that can help reduce stress and anxiety in your life.
  • How self-care can protect your mental wellness.

  • Live, interactive workshop along with Q & A discussion led by a Bayridge therapist.

"Just when you feel you have no time to relax, know that this is the moment you most need to make time to relax.” - Matt Haig
