In treatment I rely on Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Solutions-Based Therapy, and Emotionally-Focused Therapy. Additionally, I draw from medical models of health in the facilitation of rehabilitation, dietary, and wellness goals for individuals. I am passionate about educating and motivating others to achieve the quality of life they deserve."

What is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and How Can it Help?

CBT is an evidence based psychological treatment that helps you slow the process down so you can recognize distorted thinking that drives negative feelings and even dark moods. With thoughts and feelings chasing each other, behaviours just follow along. 
CBT focuses on transforming distorted thinking and balanced behaviours, promoting a quality life.CBT has proven to work for numerous problems including depression, stress, anxiety, substance abuse, eating disorders, relational problems and other more severe mental health issues.
What is also really cool is that CBT places an emphasis on helping individuals learn to be their own therapist through developing skills that teach them to change their own thinking and problematic emotions and behaviour.
